Special Edition: Shogun Animal edition

The shogun Animal edition. Mitsubishi released this in 2002 across the range. 3 door and 5 door Pinins. Shogun Sport, and Shogun models. All the cars are finished in black paint and dressed with alloy-effect trim and unique alloy wheels, and come branded with the Animal lifestyle logo already seen on the manufacturer's L200 pick-up. Each carries a £1000 premium over the respective standard car, but has extra kit, including black leather upholstery, air-conditioning or climate control, electric windows and a CD player. The Animals are available with a variety of Shoguns and cost from £13,495 for a 1.8-litre three-door Pinin. Five-door Animal versions of the Pinin start from £16,995, while Shogun Sport buyers can pick up a 2.5-litre turbodiesel for £22,995. Rounding off the Animals are a pair of Shoguns using the 162bhp 3.2-litre diesel. These cost £30,995 for a manual and £32,495 for an automatic gearbox and are fitted with electric seats as well as the other Animal trimmings.
